Our Team

Alexander was interested in teaching already at an early age. After completing a teaching degree at the University of Vienna and spending some years abroad, he worked as a teacher at the Diefenbach Gymnasium in Vienna for some time. After 20 years of teaching experience, he founded Polymind in 2024 together with his wife Xiajie. In addition to his native language German, Alexander speaks English, Italian, and Chinese.

Xiajie grew up in China as the daughter of two teachers. After studying art in Hangzhou and Milan and training as a Chinese teacher, she taught art and Chinese for several years at a Chinese school in Vienna. Eventually, she became self-employed and co-founded Polymind together with her husband Alexander in 2024. She hopes to promote the linguistic and cultural exchange between China and Austria through Polymind.
