Privacy Policy

Please note that the English translation of the German original Datenschutzerklärung is provided as a courtesy translation only. The German version shall prevail and be legally binding.

In the following data protection declaration we inform you about how personal data is collected, used, passed on or otherwise processed in the course of our business activities. The processing of personal data is necessary in order to be able to offer our services in a satisfactory quality.

Protecting your data and treating it confidentially is very important to us. Therefore, we collect and process personal data only in accordance with the applicable legal provisions, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2003 (TKG 2003).

We strive to keep the following privacy policy as simple and transparent as possible. If you still have questions regarding the processing of your data, you are welcome to contact us at any time.

Data Controller

The controller of the data processing in the sense of Article 4(7) GDPR is:

Alexander Jank
Flachgasse 24/8
1150 Wien
Austria

You can find the contact details of the data controller in our legal disclosure.

Service Provision

In order to provide our services in a practical and legally compliant manner, the following data is collected and processed in particular: full name, gender, address, email address, phone number, date of birth, citizenship, payment information as well as any other data provided in the booking process. This also includes sensitive data from which one may infer the state of health (e.g. questions about accessibility), the religious orientation (e.g. special meal requests) or the ethnic origin (e.g. name and citizenship) of the individuals concerned.

Personal data is only collected and processed if it is made available to us voluntarily. This usually happens when booking a course or service or submitting a contact request. The provision of personal data can be either direct or indirect. The latter is the case if, for example, the booking is made by a third party (e.g. via an agency, the employer, friends, family, etc.).

If a service is booked for a minor, we will also store the necessary data of the minor concerned. It should be noted that this is particularly sensitive data worth protecting. Therefore, data of minors may only be provided by their parents or other legal representatives, or with written consent of the latter.

We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the provision of our services or as required by law.

Contact Requests

If you contact us via the contact form on our website or by e-mail, telephone or other communication channels, the data you have transmitted will be stored by us for up to six months in order to process your request or in the event of further follow-up questions.

Depending on the communication channel used, storage takes place on the e-mail server, the end device (computer, laptop, smartphone) or – if, for example, contact is made via external services such as WhatsApp or WeChat – on the backend infrastructure technically required for the communication.

If there is no consent, legal obligation or necessity for the fulfillment of the contract, the data you have transmitted will not be passed on. When using communication services such as WhatsApp or WeChat, the transfer of personal data is carried out by the user themself and on a voluntary basis.
